Signature DEI Events

Mosaic Table Dinners

Mosaic Table Dinners are an inclusive space that welcome all students, allies, and friends to build community, share a meal and our most valued sense of self. They are meant to provide a welcoming, safe, and supportive space for all SPIA graduate students, including those with historically marginalized identities, students of color, queer and trans students, women, students with disabilities and first-generation lower-income students. All students and partners are welcomed at our dinners; children are welcome when the topics are age appropriate.

Students & Alumni of Color Symposium

The Students and Alumni of Color (SAOC) organization brings together students and alumni of the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs to promote racial diversity, establish mentoring relationships, discuss ideas relevant to the social, political, and professional development of students of color, and support the social and political development of the wider community. All students are welcome to participate.

FIRST+ Forum

FIRST+ empowers, elevates, and amplifies the voices of “Firsts” — low-income and first-generation students and alumni — by providing a platform for these students to find community and space to discuss issues important to them. All students are welcome to participate.

Princeton University is committed to equal opportunity and non-discrimination. To maximize excellence, we seek talent from all segments of American society and the world, and we take steps to ensure everyone at Princeton can thrive while they are here. That is the sole rationale and purpose of our diversity and inclusion programs, all of which are voluntary and open to all, and which comply with federal and state non-discrimination laws. Princeton does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic, and Princeton does not provide special benefits or preferential treatment on the basis of a protected characteristic.
