Princeton SPIA brought together different stakeholders committed to advancing sustainable development this week in New York City.

In honor of the UN General Assembly, SPIA faculty and staff shared how their work and research are contributing to the collective impact on the global goals outlined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Milley ’80 on the critical importance of peace, Professor Amelia Frank-Vitale on people, Professor Michael Oppenheimer with CPREE on protecting the planet, Professor Layna Mosley on prosperity and living fulfilling lives, and Assistant Dean Steven F. Petric MPP ’17 on partnership.

Dean Amaney Jamal opened the event after participating in two earlier panels, including with our Afghanistan Policy Lab on aid effectiveness in Afghanistan – centering women and girls in the fight against food insecurity.
