Our community is honored to celebrate Bradley Snyder on his selection as a 2020 Pat Tillman Scholar. The Tillman Foundation honors military members who exhibit a commitment to public service. The Foundation seeks individuals who carry the four values of service, scholarship, humble leadership, and impact. To date, there are 635 Tillman Scholars, and four have called the School home for their graduate education.

Bradley is a dedicated serviceman, having served seven years of active duty with the US Navy after graduating from the United States Naval Academy (USNA). In 2011, Bradley suffered complete vision loss due to a combat injury in Afghanistan. Since then, he has earned five gold medals and a world record in the London Paralympics and Rio Games.

Bradley serves as a fellow in the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership at the USNA, and will join our Ph.D. program this fall.

We are proud of Bradley’s commitment to public service, leadership, and helping change the world. We salute him in his personal mission of studying and applying virtue in all aspects of life in order to empower society’s pursuit of happiness.

Congratulations, Bradley! Welcome to our community.
