Jean-Hugues is a Senior Partner who co-leads McKinsey's Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice for the Northeast United States. His client service focus on Advanced Industrial and Automotive companies, as well as Technology and Sovereign states.

Over the last two decades, he has worked with clients on a broad range of issues from growth-strategy, holistic end-to-end transformations, M&A and divestitures, corporate restructurings, portfolio strategy based on value-creation potential.

He has recently led over last 24 months several global projects for private companies, SWF and governments on the impact of disruptions on business system post COVID-19 on AI and technology

Jean-Hugues lead McKinsey group looking at value creation in the Auto sector. He is a regular speaker at CEO and industry conference around the world.

Before joining McKinsey, Jean-Hugues started his career with the French government. He was program director of a military payload for a satellite program, then led the NATO desk and was appointed at the Cabinet of the French Secretary of defense in charge of European industrial restructuring.

He held both a Master of Science and a Master of Engineering from Ecole Centrale, option Information systems and AI. He also held a Doctorate degree in Economics from the University of Paris Dauphine.

He’s a Member of the Council on Foreign Relation in New York, and a regular attendee to the World Economic Forum in Davos.

He is a Knight of the French National Order of Merit granted by the French Government to recognize his active contribution to Franco-American friendship and economic collaboration.
