Biography
Mr. Amandeep Singh Gill serves as Under-Secretary-General and Special Envoy for Digital and Emerging Technologies. He leads strategic technology initiatives, facilitates coordination across the UN, and engages global stakeholders. USG Gill is also a member of the Secretary-General’s High-level Advisory Body on AI and Scientific Advisory Board. Previously, he was Executive Director of the UN's High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation and India's Ambassador to the Conference on Disarmament. In 2024, TIME magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in AI.
