Alexander De Croo served as Prime Minister of Belgium from October 2020 until February 2025. Prior to his premiership, he held several key roles in the federal government, including Deputy Prime Minister from 2012 to 2020 and Minister of Finance and Development Cooperation. From 2009 to 2012, he was Chairman of the Flemish Liberal Party. De Croo holds a degree in commercial engineering from the Free University of Brussels (VUB) and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
