Dina Chotrani (MPA ’22) will lead a discussion on National Security and International Relations with the following panelists:

Brieana Marticorena MPA '14 - She began her fellowship with SINSI in the Space Policy Office at the Department of Defense, followed by an assignment to the Pakistan-Afghanistan Coordination Cell in the Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. Marticorena was granted a year's Leave of Absence to serve as a strategic advisor to international Security Assistance Force Commanders General John Allen and General Joseph Dunford. She was named one of the Top 99 Under 33 most influential foreign policy leaders in 2013. Currently, she is a staff member for the House Committee on Homeland Security. 

Mark Stevens MPA '17 - As a SINSI intern he was with the Office of Policy, Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations at the Department of State. As part of his fellowship, he returned to the Department of State to work on refugee issues and humanitarian assistance in the Middle East in the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, then  was on the Syria desk in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, served in the political section of the Syria Transition Assistance Response Team in Istanbul, Turkey, went on to Yale Law School and is now an Attorney/Advisor at the State Department.

Julia Herrle MPA '23 - Both an intern and a fellow, Herrle worked at the U.S. Department of State on food security, was at the Africa Bureau, and then at the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. Currently she is on rotation at the Department of Defense, OSD Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Response, and Global Health Engagement.
