Sam van Noort teaches courses on causal inference, econometrics, and democratic backsliding. His research interests lie in political economy and quantitative research methods. Van Noort obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in 2022 and previously held pre- and postdoctoral research positions at Princeton, Harvard, and Yale.
