Dr. Tan will be speaking about governmental public health activities and initiatives regarding vaccinations. She will provide a general overview of national efforts including collection and monitoring of vaccine-associated data, publicly sponsored vaccination programs, and vaccine mandates. She will then focus some New Jersey-specific examples to illustrate how state health departments respond to vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks and how states launch data-driven vaccination campaigns.
