Benjamin Moll, assistant professor of economics and international affairs, has been selected as a 2016 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow in Economics.
The Sloan Research Fellowships are extraordinarily competitive awards involving nominations for most of the very best early-career scientists from the United States and Canada. These two-year fellowships are awarded yearly to 126 researchers in recognition of distinguished performance and a unique potential to make substantial contributions to their field.
“I am extremely honored and grateful for receiving this fellowship,” Moll said. “The fellowship funds will be a great help for my work, and I’m very much looking forward to a productive tenure as a Sloan Research Fellow.”
Moll, who studies macroeconomics and development economics, was nominated by Janet Currie, chair of Princeton University’s Department of Economics, the Henry Putnam Professor of Economics and Public Affairs and director of the Center for Health and Wellbeing.
