Rogerson Wins R.K. Cho Economics Prize

Richard Rogerson, the Charles and Marie Robertson Professor of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, has been named the winner of the 8th R.K. Cho Economics Prize by Yonsei University.

This prize, which includes a plaque, medal and cash prize, is awarded to individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the area of economic research. Rogerson will receive his award at an October ceremony in Korea.

"It is a great honor to have been chosen as the recipient of this prestigious award,” Rogerson said.

Rogerson joined the Princeton faculty in 2011, and his teaching and research interests are in the fields of macroeconomics and labor economics. His published work includes papers on labor supply and taxes, business cycle fluctuations, the effects of labor-market regulations and more.

Previous award winners include Yeon-Koo Che of Columbia University, Hyun Song Shin of Princeton University, Joon Y. Park of Indiana University, Jinyong Hahn of UCLA and In-Koo Cho of University of Illinois.
