SPIAction Newsletter

Jun 04 2024

Welcome to the exciting launch of SPIAction, the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs' new monthly newsletter! We're thrilled to have you join us on this journey, where we will keep you updated on the impactful ways our School is making a difference across the U.S. and around the world.

The events of the past year provide numerous examples of such impact. Immediately after October 7, we launched a robust series of public events exploring the Israel-Hamas war, and several SPIA faculty members have shared analysis with media outlets around the world. Many of our students protested in support of a ceasefire, support for peace, and support for Palestinian civilians in Gaza. I applaud their dedication to justice and urge them to engage with empathy and compassion, even with – especially with – those with whom they do not agree. The responsibility they bear as Princeton SPIA graduates compels this.

Here and in each forthcoming edition of SPIAction, you'll discover the remarkable work of Princeton SPIA's exceptional faculty, researchers, students, and alumni as they push boundaries and drive innovation in critical areas like policy, international relations, data science, and beyond. You'll see how the SPIA community collaborates with an unparalleled commitment to service, striving to create a more just and equitable world.

We invite you to engage with us—your thoughts and feedback are always welcome. For now, please dive in and enjoy our inspiring stories and achievements!

Warm regards,
