Dear Princeton SPIA community,

Our School prides itself on being a place that welcomes a variety of viewpoints on the world’s most challenging issues. We regularly convene gatherings to give our students the chance to hear from leaders and policymakers from across the political spectrum. Importantly, these discussions are civil. Even when speakers disagree, they do so in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
 
Already this semester, we have brought to SPIA numerous guests whose diverse backgrounds have allowed students to gain new perspectives. These included H.E. Rafael Mariano Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency; H.E. Dr. Mohamed Muizzo, the president of the Republic of Maldives; and H.E. Santiago Peña, the president of Paraguay. Several similarly high-level guests are scheduled for the remainder of the semester. I encourage you to review our events calendar for more information.
