Born and raised in New Jersey, Alex graduated from the United States Military Academy and commissioned as an Infantry Officer. He has served in the 101st Airborne Division, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team and 75th Ranger Regiment. Alex has deployed multiple times to Afghanistan and Iraq, and will continue to serve in the U.S. Army upon graduation. He completed his MPA internship this past summer with the Modern War Institute at West Point. He enjoys hiking, lacrosse and spending time with his family. Alex is married to Maura, and the proud dad of Shannon and James.
