Abdul Samad Nizamani

Samad was born and raised in Hyderabad which is 2 hours’ drive away from the port city of Karachi, Pakistan. He belongs to the Pakistan Administrative Service and has over 5 years of experience in the public sector working in remote/disadvantaged areas of Pakistan. He has a keen interest in urban development, property rights as well as city governance, and intends to return to Pakistan after completion of graduate studies to reform local governments and metropolitan corporations in the country. This summer, Samad completed his internship with  The World Bank. Most weekends, he can be found on hiking trails or agricultural farms as he loves nature and outdoors.
