Andrew Olivieri
Biography
After several deployments to Afghanistan as a part of 2nd Ranger Battalion, Andrew separated from the military to pursue his bachelor’s degree at Wesleyan University, where he studied comparative politics with a focus on the Middle East and South Asia. He then worked as a defense consultant in the Washington, D.C., area, working with clients that combined his interest in technology and national security policy. This summer, he completed his MPA internship with the U.S. State Department. After graduating from Princeton’s School of International and Public Affairs, Andrew hopes to work on issues of economic development in conflict-prone, fragile states. In his free time, he enjoys Olympic weightlifting, PC gaming, backcountry camping, and boardgames.
