Christian Henry
Biography
Christian was born in Cambridge, Massachussets, but grew up between Stanford, California, and New York, New York (he considers himself a New Yorker). Prior to Princeton, he worked in Washington, D.C., as an Assistant Analyst in the Congressional Budget Office's (CBO) Health Analysis Division, providing research support on their health insurance simulation model. As an undergraduate student, Christian also interned with the Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution and is an alum of the American Economic Association Summer Program (2019). At Washington University in St. Louis, Christian was a John B. Ervin Scholar majoring in economics along with a minor in political science and was a four-year member of the varsity football team as a quarterback and wide receiver. This past summer, he worked as a student volunteer at the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington. After Princeton, Christian hopes to work for a research organization working on U.S. domestic policy around the issues of poverty and inequality. In his free time, he is an avid sports enthusiast, whether it be playing flag football, softball, and basketball, or following the major professional sports leagues.
