Biography

Christian was born and raised in the metro-Atlanta area. He graduated with honors from Howard University where he studied economics and political science. During his time at Howard, he developed a passion to help people through mitigating poverty after much research for his senior thesis and participation in summer programs like the American Economic Association Training Program. After graduating, he worked with a local nonprofit called First African Community Development Corporation where he was a volunteer, and a case manager providing rental assistance to people in need. Prior to matriculating at Princeton, Christian interned at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities providing research assistance on various teams to promote policies that help low to moderate-income families in the United States. This past summer, he completed his MPA internship with the Georgia Resilience and Opportunity Fund. Upon graduation, Christian will continue helping disadvantaged communities using economic and international development concepts to promote anti-poverty policies domestically and internationally. In Christian’s free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, playing his trombone, watching basketball (or any sports), traveling, and watching new shows on various streaming platforms.
