Biography

Christine is a native of Buffalo, New York, and luckily has a love for snowy winters. She attended Hamilton College in Upstate New York and moved to Rochester, New York, following graduation. During her undergraduate studies, she focused her coursework on the intersection between economics and public health. After college, she worked as a clinical research coordinator at the University of Rochester Medical Center, conducting patient-centered research on rare diseases. Her main research was centered on developing and validating patient-reported outcome measures to ensure the patient voice was heard and emphasized in clinical trials and care. She worked this past summer as a graduate intern with the Take Care Program Test & Trace Corps, led by NYC Health + Hospitals. She has a love for volleyball, live music, reading, hiking, and spending time outdoors, especially the mountains. She hopes to pursue a career focused on researching and promoting health policy that improves access to quality health services in vulnerable populations.
