Biography

Before coming to Princeton, Daniel served over seven years as an intelligence analyst in the U.S. government. His research has focused on foreign military intentions and capabilities, and identifying U.S. opportunities in the Middle East region. His government servicealso brought him to the Middle East on multiple assignments supporting intelligence efforts. As the U.S. Administration responded to the Middle East crisis in 2018, he served as the daily intelligence briefer to senior U.S. officials. He holds a B.A. summa cum laude in international affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He also spent one year studying history and politics as a visiting student at Oxford University in the United Kingdom. At the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, he is looking to sharpen his quantitative skills and economic knowledge, which he hopes to employ in a future national-level policy-making role. A native of the sunshine state of Florida, Dan enjoys escaping from the city and spending time near the water with his wife and rat-terrier mix dog, Ivy.
