Dilan Pedraza

Dilan Pedraza is a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. He previously served as National Policy Director and Strategic Advisor to the CEO at Teach Plus, a national teacher leadership and policy organization, where he led federal strategy on education policy in Washington, D.C.

Dilan began his career as an 8th grade English teacher in his hometown of Richmond, California through Teach For America. He later served on the legislative staff of U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley, where he worked on domestic policy issues. His interests focus on expanding educational opportunity and strengthening pathways for students nationwide. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the West Contra Costa Public Education Fund in Richmond, California.
