Dominick Tanoh
Biography
Dominick was raised in Chicago but counts himself lucky to have called Cameroon, France, and Morocco home in the past. He graduated from Middlebury College with a major in international politics and economics and spent the next two years in Morocco as a Peace Corps volunteer working in youth development. While there, he worked with local partners to establish sports, entrepreneurship, and English courses; while learning a few recipes he still enjoys making today. During the summer before attending SPIA, Dominick spent his time working with the U.S. Department of Labor, writing and learning how to skateboard. This past summer, he interned with the New Urban Mobility Alliance, exploring how public and micro transit can become equitable and sustainable alternatives to cars. After his time at Princeton, he hopes to work in either urban or international development in order to create greener and more equitable economies built to take advantage of the unique opportunities of the 21st century.
