Erica Chiusano
Biography
Erica is a foreign service officer at the U.S. Department of State. She has served at U.S. missions in Qatar, Nigeria, and Iraq in public affairs, consular, and political roles. In the United Arab Emirates, Erica served as a Department spokesperson and appeared on pan-Arab media to explain U.S. foreign policy and programs. In Washington, Erica was a member of the Policy Planning Staff, where she advised the Secretary of State on U.S.-Africa policy and information integrity and resilience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations and psychology from the College of William & Mary in 2009. Erica is excited to join the Princeton community with her husband and two young sons. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, coffee, and board games.
