Gregory Guggenmos

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Greg graduated from SMU where he earned a joint B.S./M.S. in applied statistics and data analytics with minors in computer science, history, and human rights. During his time as an undergraduate, Greg developed a passion for education policy and criminal justice reform. He was deeply involved in local advocacy and founded the Community Bail Fund of North Texas, a nonprofit that provided direct aid to defendants detained in jail prior to their trial. More recently, Greg has worked as a statistical consultant with the Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center where he works on public defense and rural justice issues. In his free time, Greg loves to explore cities, climb rocks, and find new books to read while drinking copious amounts of coffee.
