Baher Iskander
Biography
Baher spent his first twelve years of life in Egypt, before adding seven in Texas, six in Connecticut, two in D.C. – and a year abroad during COVID. After graduating from Yale, Baher stayed on campus for two years to work with a Christian undergraduate ministry that invested in him as a student, before moving to D.C. where he worked on two of the Pentagon's annual defense policy bills as a Senate staffer on the Armed Services Committee. This past summer, he worked as a research assistant for a global risk intelligence firm. At Princeton, Baher is in Ambassador Kurtzer's diplomacy workshop focusing on the Yemen conflict and is affiliated with the Center for International Security Studies as a graduate fellow. Baher has visited more than 23 countries and intends on adding more to the list soon.
