Josanda joined the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer in 2011 and has served overseas in Chile, Haiti, Pakistan, and domestically in the Office of North African Affairs covering Libya. Previously, Josanda worked for medical and microfinance NGOs in Texas and for a political consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Josanda earned her B.A. in philosophy and political science from the University of California San Diego. She spent a year of her undergraduate degree at the University of Barcelona where she focused on Spanish language literature. Josanda was born and raised in Colorado.
