Biography

John grew up in Maryland and Russia before graduating from Cornell University in 2016. After college, he worked for four years on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. There, he aided the Committee’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 Election and its preparations for the first impeachment trial of former President Donald J. Trump. John also served two years on a volunteer fire department and is a paramedic-trained emergency medical technician. He is pursuing a joint MPA/J.D. with Columbia Law School in order to further a career in the Justice Department. In pursuit of that goal, he interned this past summer in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York where he worked on prosecutions of the mafia and corrupt government officials. He enjoys triathlons, fencing, and helping people with their cuts and bruises.
