Biography

Jason is a career diplomat with the U.S. Department of State. He was most recently a policy advisor and negotiator at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, where he covered European affairs in the U.N. Security Council and U.N. General Assembly. He also served as the North Korea Watcher at U.S. Embassy Seoul, a political officer at U.S. Embassy Beijing and the State Department's China Desk, and as a vice-consul at U.S. Consulate-General Mumbai. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Jason was part of the first group of Peace Corps volunteers to Cambodia, where he worked on rural education and community development.
