Biography

Justine is a native Californian and a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied cognitive science and political economy with a focus on behavioral science applied to public policy. Upon graduating in 2017, she moved to New York City to conduct behavioral science and social policy research at the Center for Applied Behavioral Science at MDRC, a nonprofit social policy research firm. In 2020, she left MDRC to serve in the Federal Government at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, where she worked on policy and regulatory issues under the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy. Prior to Princeton, Justine advised life sciences companies and other healthcare organizations on health policy development and legislative strategy at The McManus Group in Washington, D.C. She worked as a summer analyst in 2022 at Manatt Health. In her free time, Justine enjoys long rides on her road bike, traveling (most recently to Iceland, prior to Princeton), being in nature, and learning photography.
