Biography

Kristin is a political strategist with more than a decade working in Congress and on Senate and Presidential campaigns. She most recently served as Senior Adviser for U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper where she helped build a new Senate office from the ground up. During the Trump Administration, Kristin served as National Press Secretary and Senior Adviser for Communications for U.S. Senator Cory Booker, helping shape message and strategy around such historic events as the impeachment trial of President Trump, the nomination hearing of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and passage of the most sweeping set of criminal justice reforms in a generation. She has also served as a communications aide for Senators Michael Bennet and Mark Udall, Congressman Jared Polis, and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Before entering politics, Kristin was a journalist in Cambodia for the Phnom Penh Post. Kristin is originally from southern California but for some reason continues to move further and further away from the warm, idyllic West Coast. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history at Princeton and is thrilled to dust off all of her orange and black tiger gear.
