Biography

A born and raised Floridian, Lynne graduated with a B.S. in broadcast journalism from the University of Florida, and briefly reported for local news in Florida. Since then, she's worked in marketing and communication roles at organizations including Venture for America, Business Insider, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation. While in NYC, Lynne was also active within the Asian American community. She co-founded a podcast called Rock the Boat that is dedicated to AAPI issues and co-chaired the Associate Board of mentoring nonprofit, Apex for Youth. More recently, she was an organizer on Pete Buttigieg's 2020 presidential campaign. Lynne plans to pursue the international relations track at Princeton and dive deeper into Sino-U.S. relations. This past summer, she interned with the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies. She enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and teaching/learning yoga.
