Originally from Virginia, Matt graduated from the United States Military Academy and currently serves as an Aviation Officer and helicopter pilot in the Army. He previously served in the 101st Airborne Division and deployed to both Afghanistan and Europe. Upon completion of his graduate degree, Matt will serve his next tour as an instructor of American politics at West Point. Matt and his wife, Andrea, are the proud parents of four children.
