Myriam Khairallah

Myriam is a sanctions and global threat-assessment expert from Lebanon with over 15 years of experience in international relations, counterterrorism and its financing, sanctions, and financial crime. Before joining SPIA, she spent five years in New York working with two United Nations Security Council sanctions committees. Previously, she spent nearly a decade at Lebanon’s Financial Intelligence Unit and held roles at the Central Bank, Ministry of Finance, and Insurance Control Commission. She has led more than 40 field missions and represented the UN in international forums. She holds an MBA from the Lebanese American University, is a certified AML and global sanctions specialist, and serves on the supervisory board of the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT) in The Hague. She is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
