Biography

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maggie attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. After graduating, Maggie worked in the private sector for two years, before deciding to transition to public service. She was selected as a 2017 Herbert Scoville Jr. Fellow to work on U.S.-Russian arms control at the Arms Control Association in Washington, D.C. She then moved to the Brookings Institution, where she worked with Strobe Talbott on his book project, as well as nuclear policy and all things Russia and Eastern Europe. Maggie completed two summer internships, the first at the Technology Policy Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the second with the Center for Digital Development at the U.S. Agency for International Development. She is a Writing Fellow with the Princeton Writing Center and a Vote100 Fellow with Princeton's Vote100 Civic Engagement Initiative.
