Biography

A SINSI scholar from New Canaan, Connecticut, Olivia graduated in 2017 from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs with a certificate in Near Eastern studies. In the summer of 2015, she interned at Running Start, a non-partisan nonprofit dedicated to increasing the involvement of young women in politics. In the summer of 2016, she worked in the government, serving as an honors intern in a unit that augmented her knowledge of the Arabic language and U.S. foreign policy. In addition to her academic studies, Olivia played on the varsity women’s lacrosse team at Princeton. Olivia began her SINSI fellowship in the summer of 2018 at the Office of Secretary of Defense Policy (OSDP) Afghanistan/Pakistan/Central Asia (APC) in the Defense Department. In her free time, she loves playing various sports, cooking, and doing crossword puzzles. After completing her MPA at Princeton, Olivia plans to work in the government, pursuing her interests in U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.
