Osama Safeer
Biography
Osama has proudly never worked a corporate job, and spent 10 years of his career working towards improving basic health and education for the underprivileged in Pakistan. He has worked at top research think tanks, largest NGOs, and high impact public sector focused management consultancies, beside a year-long stint in the health government, managing the coordination and implementation of a 200 million USD project to revamp 125 secondary care hospitals catering to over 100 million people of Pakistan's Punjab. His key specializations are in coordination, system reform, and monitoring and evaluation. This past summer, Osama interned with UNICEF South Africa. Osama hopes to use his MPA to both widen and deepen the net for the toughest policy challenges facing the third world. He hopes to use his time at Princeton staying busy and exploring the considerably advanced policy implications across politics, lawmaking, security, international relations, and international development. He is a nerd and a workaholic. He enjoys music, movies, comedy, and of course books, but most of all he enjoys meaningful conversations. He is also a proud mental health warrior.
