Biography

Paris was born and raised in Northern California and attended Columbia University, where she studied economics and political science. Upon graduating, Paris spent two years as a Justice Fellow at the Equal Justice initiative (EJI), a racial and criminal justice organization in Montgomery, Alabama. While at EJI, she conducted historical and legal research, produced content for exhibitions in the Legacy Museum, and assisted attorneys with prison conditions work. Prior to starting her MPA/J.D. between Princeton and UC Berkeley School of Law, she worked at Demos, a think tank focused on creating a more inclusive democracy and economic landscape in the United States. In summer of 2024, Paris worked as an Economic Equity Summer Associate at the Rockefeller Foundation in New York. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and spend time with her dog, Sharon.
