Ryan Price

Ryan grew up in the Midwest, living at different times in Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota. He studied politics and communications at Drake University before moving to Washington in 2013 to begin a career in public service. He worked in the Obama administration for several years as a legislative assistant at the White House before moving on to environmental policy and advocacy roles at the Environmental Defense Fund and the Linden Trust for Conservation. He took the summer off before starting the MPA program to read, volunteer, run, and spend time with friends. Last summer, he interned with the Sustainable Markets Initiative. He plans to pursue roles in international climate diplomacy following completion of the program.
