Biography

A native of Clarksville, Tennessee, Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in sociology and a certificate in Asian American studies. Focused on affordable housing policy, Sarah has interned with the Bipartisan Policy Center’s housing and infrastructure team and served as a research assistant at the Eviction Lab, where she managed a table on COVID-19 housing policies that was cited by the New York Times. Her other internship experiences include student teaching in Kenya, public policy research at the Brimley Group, grassroots organizing at Houston Justice, and working on a statewide child abuse and mental health resource helpline at the New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department. Sarah is a Scholars in the Nation’s Service Initiative (SINSI) Scholar. In her free time, Sarah enjoys organizing charcuterie boards, playing with her hamster, and traveling.
