Biography
Sharon was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce with honours in economics from the University of Melbourne in 2013. Upon graduating, Sharon joined the Reserve Bank of Australia as an economist and worked there for several years on economic and financial system analysis and forecasting. Her research and professional interests are in labour markets, inequality and financial stability. Prior to Princeton, Sharon spent the summer (winter in Australia!) wrapping up some research projects at work, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of the café culture in Melbourne. This past summer, she worked as a short term consultant at the World Bank to complete her MPA internship requirement. Upon completion of the MPA program at Princeton, Sharon is eager to apply new skills and knowledge to economic policymaking in Australia.
