Biography
Vlad is a climate finance wonk, runner and Londoner keen to explore everything that Princeton has to offer. His family is originally from Serbia, though they fled during the Yugoslav civil wars of the 1990s and settled in London, where he grew up and now resides. He spent most of his 20s working internationally on sustainable development and humanitarian crises, but transitioned to climate policy work just after he turned 30 – it became an unavoidable part of the work he did internationally, so he decided to work on the climate crisis full time. Vlad has lived in Iraq, Kenya and Jordan, but moved back to London and joined the civil service to help the government mobilise investment into its ambitious efforts to reach net zero.
