Biography

Wyatt is a native of Eldon, Missouri, who studied economics, policy, and information management and technology at Syracuse University. After graduating, he returned to Missouri to work for the Missouri State Treasurer’s Office where he crafted economic and public finance data transparency tools. Wyatt then joined the Missouri Attorney General's Office where he conducted strategic planning, grant administration, and stakeholder coordination operations for the office’s Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI). In addition to his SAKI activities, Wyatt provided data analysis and research support for legislative and litigation efforts in a wide range of policy areas. As the architect and project manager for Missouri’s first statewide sexual assault kit tracking system, Wyatt spent the summer prior to the MPA program working to implement the system in communities across the state. This past summer, as a Rosenthal Fellow, he worked with the U.S. Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy. He plans to apply his data analysis and policy development skills to questions in international conflict and foreign policy. In his free time, Wyatt enjoys reading, video games, and practicing Judo as well as other martial arts.
