Yeimy Baez

Yeimy is a Colombian energy executive with a remarkable 20-year career spanning the oil and gas, renewables, and hydrogen sectors. Prior to joining the School, she led teams of over 200 individuals and managed businesses generating annual revenues surpassing $2 billion USD. Yeimy's journey began as an engineer, where she honed her skills in financial and strategic processes for publicly listed companies. Yeimy is widely recognized for her pioneering work in renewables and green hydrogen projects, as well as her leadership in the natural gas business – a key energy source in Colombia's energy transition and a fundamental tool in combating poverty. Beyond her professional endeavors, Yeimy is a devoted mother of two and a staunch advocate for diversity in the workplace. Upon graduation from SPIA, she plans to continue her mission of driving positive change in the energy sector, focusing on innovation and sustainability.
