David is Lecturer in Sustainability and the Environment at the University of Leeds. He is an interdisciplinary conservation scientist focused on uncovering how humanity can support itself at the least cost to biodiversity and the wider environment. Most recently his research has focused on quantitatively assessing land-use strategies to uncover those that can best balance food production with environmental concerns, and on strategies to ensure that research is targeted at answering questions that can deliver real world benefits.

This event is part of the David Bradford Energy and Environmental Policy Seminar Series, organized by the Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment.
