LISD International Policy Associates Met Top Policymakers in Poland
During the Fall Break, the International Policy Associates (IPAs)—LISDs selective group of undergraduate pre-professional foreign policy fellows—traveled to Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Kraków to investigate recent and contemporary Polish politics. CITP Researchers Help Close Major Internet Security Loophole
For years a potential disaster lurked in the internet’s encryption system, threatening the security of organizations and individuals worldwide. Princeton engineers have now squelched that threat, working with industry leaders to transform their research into a universal security standard that was adopted by global organizations in August and made effective Sept. 6.The change centers on how web browsers and operating systems verify a website’s identity when establishing a secure connection. Princeton SPIA Scholars Honored with Prestigious APS Awards
The American Physical Society has recognized two scholars at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs (Princeton SPIA) for their contributions to the field of physics. Alex Glaser, an associate professor at Princeton SPIA and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Co-Director of the Program on Science and Global Security (SGS), has won the 2025 Leo Szilard Lectureship Award. Sébastien Philippe, a research scholar with SGS, received the 2025 Joseph A. Burton Forum Award.
