Please join us for a 2016 International Human Rights Day program. UN Rapporteur for Extreme Poverty and Human Rights Philip G. Alston, the John Norton Pomeroy Professor of Law at New York University School of Law, and co-founder of its Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, will give an address accepting the UNA-USA’s 2016 Adlai Stevenson Award for his human rights career of service to the global community.
Professor Alston will speak and take questions regarding his work on freedom from extreme poverty, on ending extrajudicial executions, and children’s human rights.
