The Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance (NCGG) continues for the 13th year to sponsor the International Relations Faculty Colloquium. This weekly colloquium is well attended by faculty and both undergraduate and graduate students from various academic departments including Politics, Economics and the Woodrow Wilson School. These meeting have given faculty and graduate students the opportunity to meet and discuss with many scholars doing interesting research in comparative politics and international relations. It has become a catalyst for intellectual discussions, linking cross-disciplinary faculty and undergraduate and graduate students through its weekly colloquium series.

All seminars will be held on Mondays at 12:00pm in Bowl 016, Robertson Hall with lunch being provided.

To lead off this year's fall sessions on September 18th, Emilia Justyna Powell, University of Notre Dame, will present a paper entitled, Islamic Law and International Law: Peaceful Resolution of Disputes
