Adam Higginbotham writes for The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Wired, GQ, and Smithsonian. A former assistant director for national security in the White House Office of Science and Technology, Frank von Hippel’s areas of policy research include nuclear arms control and nonproliferation, energy, and checks and balances in policymaking for technology. He is Senior Research Physicist and Professor of Public and International Affairs, Emeritus, at the Woodrow Wilson School. His books include Citizen Scientist: Collected Essays and Unmaking the Bomb (coauthored). Gregory B. Jaczko was a chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He is adjunct professor at Princeton University and Georgetown University and the author of Confessions of a Rogue Nuclear Regulator.
