The Kahneman-Treisman Center for Behavioral Science & Public Policy is pleased to sponsor the 2017-18 Behavioral Policy Speaker Series.  Throughout the series, scholars and practioners who marry academic insights with actionable interventions and policy recommendations will present their work to the University community and public at large.

Oriana Bandiera, Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, will present the opening lecture in the 2017-18 Behavioral Policy Speaker Series on Thursday, September 21 at 4:30 p.m. in the Julis Romo Rabinowitz Building, Room 399.  Bandiera specializes in the design of field experiments to evaluate how individual behavior is shaped by monetary incentives and social relationships. In her talk entitled “Social Incentives in Organizations” (postponed from last season's series), Bandiera reviews evidence on social incentives in organizations and proposes a systematic categorization of them based on the nature of the social group and on the nature of the social preferences that underpin the incentives.

All lectures in the series are free and open to the public. Other dates include October 19, 2017, and November 16, 2017; Spring semester dates will be announced.
