“Vets Coming Home: Downshifting from Combat” will be the topic of discussion 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Bowl 016, Robertson Hall, Princeton University.

The discussion is being held in conjunction with the art exhibit, “Combat Paper NJ,” on display now in the Bernstein Gallery of Robertson Hall. This exhibit features works on paper made by veterans from the Vietnam and the recent Middle East wars. A public reception will follow the discussion in the gallery.

David Keefe, senior assistant dean for veteran initiatives at Columbia University’s School of General Studies, will introduce the program.

Panelists include:

* Capt. Kym R. Leyva, Scholarship and Enrollment Officer, Princeton University, Army ROTC

* Major Gen. William Nash, visiting lecturer in international Affairs, Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, U.S. Army

* Major Brendan Gallagher, Woodrow Wilson School Ph.D. candidate, U.S. Army

* Major Michael Kelvington, Woodrow Wilson School MPA candidate, U.S. Army

Stanley N. Katz, professor of public and international affairs and director of the Center for Arts and Cultural Policy Studies, will moderate the panel.
